BE RETREAT-064.jpg

From a dream discussion over coffee, to a fully encouraged push, we are so excited to host our first retreat.

Why this collaboration works.
We have worked together before. And we understand each other.
We have been vulnerable together. And we’ve helped each other GROW.
We have built a community. And we have built a FRIENDSHIP.
We have experienced trauma. And we have helped each other HEAL.
We have been open and honest with each other. And now here we are.

To share with you our learnings. Our habits of what helped us. And to hold a space for you to be.

What’s important to us is to celebrate the women around us.
Everyone involved in building ‘be’ are so SPECIAL to us.
We’re super grateful to have such an incredible team of empowering women.
The support we’ve had so far is truly heartwarming.
It gives us COURAGE. To share our PASSION and help each other bloom.
We’re committed to create a supportive and inclusive environment for women from all walks of life.

The first be retreat is being held on the farm that is Clare’s family home. It is also the home of The Do Lectures which Clare and her husband David founded 15 years ago. The Do Lectures is a crazy, wonderful, jam-packed energetic weekend of talks, music, inspiration and lots of doing.

Clare has often thought that she would love to host a small, relaxing and restorative gathering of women, where they could step out of the day-to-day and hang out together sharing stories around a campfire. It wasn’t until a conversation with Nia and Sara, that Clare realised that the ‘hook’ for this could be yoga and the wonderful benefits it brings.

Clare has been practising yoga and breathwork under Nia’s guidance for many years and credits her classes to keep her GROUNDED and PRESENT and able to deal with the stresses of day-to-day life.

Running the Do Lectures and Hiut Denim over the last few years has been tough on Clare, and Nia and Sara (who both work with Clare), have kept her propped up and able to cope.

The spirit of this women-supporting-women support, and the learnings from the journeys that all three women have been on over the last few years, have inspired this retreat and it feels right to invite other women in to be supported and nourished too.

Nia has transformed Cardigan with her Be You Yoga studio, where she invites individuals to move, breathe, and find stillness.

The space she holds allows people to surrender to their vulnerabilities and courageously confront their challenges. Nia has built a compassionate community, nurturing an environment of EMPATHY, UNDERSTANDING, and shared growth. A guiding light, to help others find their own inner strength, balance, and AUTHENTICITY

As a certified 300-hour yoga teacher, Nia's expertise goes beyond the traditional realms of yoga teaching. She is also a seasoned breathwork facilitator, guiding her students on journeys of SELF-DISCOVERY and HEALING. Her background as a dance teacher infuses her classes with fluidity and rhythm, offering a unique and holistic approach to movement and mindfulness. But Nia's journey doesn't stop there. With such PASSION and KNOWLEDGE, she is currently training to become a kundalini activation facilitator.

It's this relentless pursuit of growth and self-improvement that sets Nia apart – her commitment to her craft and her community is truly remarkable.

With a gentle yet clear guidance, she leads you on a journey of self-discovery, EMPOWERMENT, and inner peace. Nia's approach is infused with warmth, and autheticity, creating an environment where you feel SEEN, HEARD, and VALUED.

Sara moved back home to West Wales from London for a slower pace of life and to build better habits. This change marked the beginning of a journey of SELF-EXPLORATION.

With a CREATIVE background and an unending curiosity, Sara is driven to be better and to GROW her knowledge. Recently, she completed a Masters in Innovation and now, she is delving deeper into counselling, with a particular interest in Adlerian Counselling, driven by a desire to better herself and contribute positively to the lives of others.

She believes that we are all makers, and creatively expressing ourselves through sharing, making, and writing can help take you on a journey of GROUNDING and to be PRESENT.

Passionate about sharing her journey and insights, Sara aims to help others embark on their own paths of SELF-DISCOVERY and growth. She will be leading the workshops, and curating a wonderful event, that will allow you to be present, grounded and feel whole.

To build a COMMUNITY and to grow stronger.

It's a testament to the power of collaboration and community.

TOGETHER, we're creating a space where women can THRIVE, INSPIRE, and UPLIFT each other.

Just like we’ve experienced together.

We deeply appreciate every ounce of encouragement, enthusiasm, and dedication poured into this endeavour.

Let go of any expectations.

JUST BE.

Why the farm?

It’s on a farm, but not your traditional farm.

This is the Do Lectures farm, where the events they hold here are INTIMATE and MAGICAL

And that’s how they will always be

This is why we feel extremely grateful to host the first be retreat here.

The farm is located near Cardigan, West Wales.
